Our Hair Salon is located at Broadway, Sydney and is minutes from Chippendale, Glebe and Ultimo.

The Salon has been designed with a burlesque theme in mind and has resulted in the creation of an intimate, funky, lounge style salon.

Travis George, owner and stylist with over 25 years International Experience (London, North America, Europe, Australia) insists that ‘when the clients leave, they not only feel spoilt and pampered but they are blown away by their new style and are taught how to achieve and maintain their new salon look at home’.

At Broadway Hair Lounge our Hairdressers believe that it is pointless walking out of the salon with a cutting edge style if you can’t recreate the look when you get home. We want you to enter our salon with a vision that we can create for you and we then want to educate you on how to maintain it.

The Broadway Hair Lounge Story

Travis George, owner of  Broadway Hair Lounge created his Hairdressing Concept in 2005 when he opened his first salon, Travis George Hair at the Piazza (www.travisgeorgehair.com). Travis had a vision of creating a unique, luxurious hairdressing experience that would leave the client feeling pampered, spoilt and comfortable in the knowledge that they could recreate their Salon Hairstyle when they get home.

Early in 2008 an opportunity arose for Travis to create a new style salon. When the owner of a fresh, Inner City, state of the art Body Piercing salon approached Travis George to share his space, Travis George realised it was his opportunity to create a new style salon in Broadway/Chippendale.

Travis’ 25 years international experience (London, North America, Europe and Austraia) gave him an understanding of what clients were looking for and with his first flagship store (Travis George Hair at The Piazza) growing from strength to strength, it gave rise to the opening of Travis George Hair Lounge, which is today known as Broadway Hair Lounge (as much as Travis loves his name, Broadway Hair Lounge definitely had an edgier vibe!).
